Had A one night stay in the Doubletree Hilton Leeds city centre. This is the nicest of the two Hiltons because it's newer and by the wharf . If you don't fancy the excellent food in the hotel there is plenty of restaurants in and around the hotel itself all set in a tranquil setting.
I do recommend you go to the 13th floor to go to the sky lounge, where I spent the evening. It has spectacularly views of Leeds. I can recommend the cocktails and champagne as that's how my night went.
It's only about five minute walk into the city centre excellent hotel for location, even the train station is two minutes walk. My room was but looking at the train station, I thought it might be noisy but it was far from it very quiet comfortable night sleep.
So next time I'm in Leeds I will rebook it, I am hilton honours member so that's always a bonus.
Included a couple of photos just to get the idea one from top of the sky lounge Terrace. Staff at the Hilton always very friendly and professional.
