Stayed one night on 7th November 2018. This hotel is perfect for one night before a flight. The room was clean and comfortable (number 8 on the ground floor) however our stay was spoiled by the inconsiderate banging about from the room directly above from 2:50 am until 3:40 am until the two occupants finally left. The gentleman on reception was very pleasant and professional. The sleep quality score would have been excellent had it not been for the room above.

Room tip: Choose a first floor room!!! See above.

Stayed at this location to be near the air port for an early morning flight,, never done this before but found it less stressful than early mornings runs to the airport. Clean, bright room everything we needed for 1night stay.

If your expecting Hilton standard you have booked the wrong hotel. This is a good budget hotel within walking distances of the airport. Clean and has everything you need for an overnight stop. We will use it again

Had training for 2 days in Leeds - very close to Barnardos offices so ideal within 2 miles - room clean, friendly helpful staff - Accesible room for
disability. Lone female on business felt
Safe-room cleaned each day - staff brought me ironing board to room. Ordered takeaway as recommended and was very good . Must be great for holiday stops would book again even for social trips

Yes they have re introduced shower gel and put in slightly bigger beds but that is about it. Still very basic and I would only use as a last resort

Yes it’s well located for the airport. You could drop off bags, drive up to park in say the airport mid stay and next morning walk up to the terminal. (Airport parking is same price if you drop off in evening or v early next day). This saves hassle of looking for a space at 0400 hrs etc but it is a long slog from the hotel up the hill so most of us won’t get that past the boss!. If you are going to drive 1st thing in the morning you should consider one of the budget hotels slightly further away .., though they will tend to get full 1st.

Light was broken above parking pay point so I had to get a phone with a light to pay parking fee (£6). Guy at reception just grunted and pointed to the parking app on the wall!

Kettle tea/ coffee. Shower above bath but no bath mat so floor gets v slippy. Extra care required when getting out of the bath or walking up the hill will be the least of your problems,

Wi-fi payable which is so rare these days. Are Travelodge and Newcastle airport the last few companies charging ?
