Although not the cheapest (pizzas generally £11-£13) this place makes what I feel are the most authentic pizzas around. The tomato sauce is thick, the mozzarella is as good as you can find in the UK (fair, no mozzarella is as good as it is in Southern Italy, but we are not in Italy). Probably most important is the pizza dough which is not too crispy and not soggy, i.e. perfectly chewy and flavourful. Even the toppings are authentic (no stuffed crusts or BBQ pizzas here). A really good Italian pizza. The specials seem a little over-priced but I did not order them. Was busy this Sunday lunch.

Really good food but apart of one waitress service really average. It’s a bit too expensive as well. But on the end of the day quality of food and restaurant layout save this place. Unfortunately “menu” looks like from previous century or cheap take away bar. Choice of wines also poor. Anyway 4/5 in general for BOH, great waitress (supervisor?). Behaviour of “managers” (maybe owners?) unacceptable. Definitely best “Italian” place in Windsor.

We booked and this was a good thing as even on a thursday evening there were people waiting inside and also outside on a cold evening.

Warm and buzzy atmosphere. Good selection of daily specials explained before we ordered. Prosecco was a good fresh trentino blend which was nice. Burrata starter was fantastic with bright cherry tomatoes, fresh rocket and very creamy cheese to compliment the prosciutto.

They have a real stone pizza oven and the pizza were exactly as you would expect from this. Thin, not crispy thin which can be less enjoyable. Fresh cheese, rich tomato flavour and a light chilli piccante salami. Excellent.

Leave room for dessert. The home made tiramisu is really home made and is excellent. Not heavy and alcohol loaded like most it is how it should be made. Blackberry sorbet is lovely and fresh with a rich flavour.

Service was busy but friendly and happy to get things done. Honest and decent.

Great place and well deserving of the good marks.

We visited here over the weekend, for a second time and we were not disappointed. Having booked a table for 20:30, we arrived to a sizeable queue, but we were happy to nip around the corner for a drink, to allow them to catch up.
The food and the service was faultless, despite how busy they were. We went for the bruschetta to start and shared the spaghetti and the ham and mushroom pizza. Both dishes were well seasoned and well portioned - would recommend both.
