Description: The Greene Oak is ideally situated on the edge of Windsor with easy access from the centre of town as well as local business parks and LegoLand, with ample free parking. The pub believes in using fresh, locally sourced food, simply prepared and beautifully presented for it's predominately British menus. A great place for lunch, dinner or a party with either friends, family or business colleagues.

I visited this restaurant with 3 others for a family birthday. Restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere. The service was good and main waiter was efficient.

Food overall was good and was presented well. However some disappointing factors... firstly, we ordered starters including a Mackrell pâté and a terrine and these did not come with any bread etc. How are you supposed to eat a pâté with no bread??? We then ordered some bread which was lots of thick pieces and not suitable for these starters.

Secondly, we had roasts for mains which came with a large Yorkshire pudding. The vegetables were potatoes, 1 piece of suede and 2 tiny carrots. We asked for some greens and they said it did not come with any, so we asked to order some. They said the only greens they do is a side salad...

Lastly, when we ordered some coffees and the latte was a watery tasteless latte which I'm sure was instant powder. When we asked the waiter to take this back, he said it was a coffee made with half water and half milk which was bit strange.

Overall, a nice meal but for the price and the missing elements I don't think I will be returning.

Had a fantastic lunch, perfectly cooked, perfectly presented. Can’t get such a nice meal anywhere in the Windsor town centre.

Group visit for new years eve - restaurant not even half full.
Food below average, most of the staff besides Holly appeared not to want to be there. Entertainment at midnight was a disco which was poor done by two young lads swigging champagne from the bottle. The place in general very tired looking.

Foods was Incredible delicious, it's a pub, but it doesn't feel like we ate in the pub , cozy decorations, we feel like we ate in a French restaurant, high quality foods, friendly staffs.
