We booked an overnight stay at the Bell and were very satisfied with the room, the service and the newly refurbished restaurant. We met two friends for dinner and we were all pleased about the delicious, resonably priced meal.
Breakfast met our expectations, too - even a newspaper was included!

Room Tip: If you like a four-poster bed , take the "Home and away suite"!

Stayed 2 nights on a Groupon break. Great value at £69 for 2 nights B&B + bottle of wine in room. The room was comfortable and well equipped, just across the car park from the Inn. All the staff were very friendly and professional throughout. Ate in the Bell on the first night and had a very good meal with quality, local ingredients and this was reflected at breakfast. Good beer choice and wine list and happy hour Mon-Fri 6-7 PM.
The village is just outside Broadway and is a great base to visit the Cotswolds and, though this is a review of the Bell, I cannot avoid mentioning that this village has two great pubs, both with great food, beer, atmosphere, music nights and happy hours so, whilst I recommend the Bell, I recommend the village even more strongly.

We recently took two friends to the Bell who were visiting for the weekend. The last time they went was awful but was whenthe previous owners were there and I assume winding down. This time was a very different experience. The pub was very busy which is a good sign, The choice of food was varied. The portions were incredible and not over priced. I shared a fish platter starter which was huge! Then I had a pea risotto which again was huge and tasty. Others in my party were equally happy. The landlady served us and was very helpful and friendly. I wish them well and hope they keep up the good high standards. We will definitely return.

We visited for an evening meal on a Wednesday in May. Our first visit was a few years ago and we were immediately struck by the changes that had been done. The whole place looks lighter and more airy but sill retains character. We were welcomed by a friendly, courteous waiter who looked after us promptly and efficiently. The menu is interesting and there was a good selection of specials available. The food was tasty, well cooked and presented well. An extensive wine list and selection of ales complimented the meal. Overall the for of us had a good experience and will probably return.

The Bell has a warm friendly atmosphere and staff with ready smiles. Our main meals (4) were all excellent which included the sweets as well. In addition to the above everything on the menu was reasonably priced and there is a happy hour between 6 and 7 even though the drinks are good value normally. In an area not generally known for inexpensive dining this establishment is a winner.

A beautiful peaceful location, with duck pond across the road, only a mile from Broadway village, a really nice room, very friendly, helpful staff. Good food, although both steaks were slightly overcooked; the fish and chips were huge and fabulous. Wi-Fi available free of charge in the bar. Nice pub garden. We used The Bell as a base as nothing in the immediate area apart from Broadway which is well worth a visit, and visited Chipping Campden, Burford, and Stow on the Wold which are all fabulous. We will return for another stay.

Room Tip: The 4 poster bedroom is worth the extra cost.

Recently had an evening meal at the Bell while staying a few days in the area.
Service wasn't good, just felt the waiting staff were not very attentive and had to be reminded to take my drink order and to bring the bill.
Asked for a jug of water but a very small glass of water was brought instead. I had to keep asking for a refill which was rather irritating.
Waited a long time for our meal and the restaurant wasn't that busy.

The food was a bit hit and miss.....the lamb was good, the steak had a good flavour but was well over-cooked.....served with chunky chips and massive onion rings so the plate did not look terribly appealing. We won't go out of our way to return especially as it was on the expensive side for not outstanding food.
