This place is a real gem. Decor, rooms, views, food and incredible staff make this place amazing.
Don't miss this one if you're staying in the Cotswolds. Convenient to everything. Saw Oxford, Royal Shakespeare play, Burton on the Water (go before 10 to miss the tourists), Chipping Campden, Blenheim palace, Hidcote Gardens-- all were terrific.

You realise this is no ordinary hotel as soon as you arrive. Greeted in the driveway with a friendly smile, bags collected from car, shown to the drawing room for champagne and a freshly made scone. Tour of the house, introduced to Rich the chef, the wine cellar, the beautiful terrace overlooking hundreds of acres of countryside... amazing.

Luxurious, yes. But this is not a luxury hotel. Imagine some millionaire friends ask you house sit their country manor, and insist you treat the place like your own - with their staff on hand 24/7 to attend to your every need. No menus, no rules, no pretentious maitre d', no obnoxious sommelier... just Callum, Cat, Gwyn, Hannah, Matt and Rich.

Keen and attentive service - but not intrusive. Friendly chit chat with the staff, not affected and wooden typical of luxury hotels.

Craving for cookie dough icecream? No problem for chef who made it from scratch. Will we be sitting on the terrace, lazing on the sofas in the drawing room.... who knows! Callum: "I'll come and find you when its ready"

Luxury hotels never feel this personal. Yes its expensive, but worth every penny.

From the moment you arrive you are at home..with benefits. Eat what you like, when you like, where you like. Fancy a drink? there it is. A little chocolate ? Certainly. Jelly beans ? Sure thing ! Just like home...
They have HUGE luxurious rooms (we had the 75m2 Chestnut) with triple aspect, marvellous views for miles including over the beautiful Broadway.
But the best is the way the staff are immediately friends simply looking after you. There is no "standard service"...just friendly "yes" to everything. We certainly will return ...soon.

Room Tip: Phone for help on the room but I saw several and would love them all. Personally chestnut is best for us.

We have recently returned from a two night stay at Foxhill Manor for our honeymoon. To say we are disappointed is an understatement, disappointed we had to come home!

We were greeted on arrival by Matt and his service and help throughout our stay was superb! We stayed in Juniper, which much to my pleasure, was right next to the kitchen. The food made by Richard and his team was incredible. Literally anything you wanted that wasn’t on the board, they would creat for you if they could. After being on a diet for the wedding, this made the honeymoon all the more special.

We loved the spa up at Dormy House and were annoyed at ourselves that we hadn’t booked more treatments! We can’t thank the team enough at Foxhill Manor for everything they did during our stay, nothing was too much for them. We can’t wait to return!!

We have had such a happy and relaxed couple of days. Heading home now on the train and feeling so sad to have left the peaceful luxury that is Foxhill Manor.

Although everyone is entitled to their own opinion, we can’t quite fathom a recent critical review on here and so felt compelled to share our experience.

We were picked up from the station by Gwyn with a warm and friendly welcome. The staff are super down to earth and attentive. No boring pretentiousness, and everything service wise is on point. We were kindly offered a free upgrade as the hotel was quiet, so enjoyed the luxury of the hotel’s finest suite.

The food was ridiculously tasty and the chefs were very accommodating with our indulgent greed. Can’t stop thinking about the rare beef wellington with dauphinois,thick cut chips, red wine jus and béarnaise... As a tip, don’t hold back on asking for whatever you fancy when it comes to the food. So long as you give the kitchen enough notice, they seem to take pride in creatively accommodating your needs.

We want to say a massive thank you to Gwyn in particular. We will most definitely be coming back soon.
