We stayed here for four nights mainly in order to follow the Blossom Trail. The staff are very efficient and welcoming, rooms are very spacious and kept spotlessly clean, bathrooms are also spacious with a shower over the bath (rather high-sided for any elderly folk) with Imperial Leather shower gel provided as well as handwash gel by the handbasin. Lovely big mirrors in both the bathroom and main room. Our only adverse comment really is that the hairdryer (and its a good one, two heat settings, cold blast and a diffuser) is wired in at the same point as the kettle, drink provisions and cups meaning that one has to try and avoid getting hair in the drinks!! Lovely big screen TV, rooms are well sound-proofed, quieter rooms at the back but great views at the front of the hotel. There are plenty of open shelves but no drawers, six good quality clothes hangars, no pen, pencil or paper so take your own if you're likely to need any.
We enjoyed a really good breakfast each day in The Orchard pub next door but were disappointed that there were no Sunday roast meals available at 6pm. The remainder of the menu is more or less standard pub fare but was acceptable. We were told of a pub The Round of Gras in nearby Badsey and had a great meal there, not expensive, good atmosphere and Dame Judi Dench has been known to eat there too!
