“Lovely Hotel”
Reviewed 2 May 2012

I would recommend staying in the Premier Inn Evesham Country Park, Clean smart hotel with friendly staff. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. a very good base for visiting the Cotswold's.

Room Tip: We stayed in the rooms at the rear and our friends at the front of the hotel and both were good

Happy to recommend Evesham Premier Inn. Good food in the restaurant. Very positive and helpful staff throughout.

Room Tip: Ground floor rear is as good as any.

Located on main road but slightly set back. Rooms at back overlook country park and quieter than front. Asked to change from front to back and very helpful staff member Taylor fid it quickly and efficiently.

Only problen no hot water in our room (60) first night and apparently this was not first time. Staff offered us room change but we elected to stay but took bath in nearby room. Second night it had been fixed.

Tips: there is a small Co-op store in petrol station out front and the country park is actually a very nice shopping centre with an up market farm shop and big garden centre with 2 restaurants not to mention a small railway and countryside walks. You get no idea of this from the signs beside the hotel.

This was a stop over between Yorkshire and the West Country and the rooms were comfortable and equiped to the usual Premier Inn standard. Reception staff were engaging and reasonably helpful.
Dinner in The Orchard Restaurant adjacent to the accommodation was a very enjoyable experience with food well presented and engaging and efficient wait staff, indeed, the sharing plates are a feast in themselves.
We were therefore, surprised and disappointed with the breakfast which was less than the usual standard for Premier Inn; semi-skimmed milk was unavailable and stocks were not efficiently replenished in a timely manner.

Room Tip: Beware of disappointing breakfast service which does not come up to the dinner quality for food or s...

Excellent stay, friendly staff, excellent rooms, breakfast next door a bit pricey though.
Rooms good value when their offers are running. More offers need to be provided please as not all of us are staying on business expenses!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the back of the hotel away from the traffic noise.

We stayed here for four nights mainly in order to follow the Blossom Trail. The staff are very efficient and welcoming, rooms are very spacious and kept spotlessly clean, bathrooms are also spacious with a shower over the bath (rather high-sided for any elderly folk) with Imperial Leather shower gel provided as well as handwash gel by the handbasin. Lovely big mirrors in both the bathroom and main room. Our only adverse comment really is that the hairdryer (and its a good one, two heat settings, cold blast and a diffuser) is wired in at the same point as the kettle, drink provisions and cups meaning that one has to try and avoid getting hair in the drinks!! Lovely big screen TV, rooms are well sound-proofed, quieter rooms at the back but great views at the front of the hotel. There are plenty of open shelves but no drawers, six good quality clothes hangars, no pen, pencil or paper so take your own if you're likely to need any.

We enjoyed a really good breakfast each day in The Orchard pub next door but were disappointed that there were no Sunday roast meals available at 6pm. The remainder of the menu is more or less standard pub fare but was acceptable. We were told of a pub The Round of Gras in nearby Badsey and had a great meal there, not expensive, good atmosphere and Dame Judi Dench has been known to eat there too!

Room Tip: Choose from extremely quiet at the rear or nice views at the front and not too noisy there either, a...
