It is quite expensive to get in but there is a lengthy explanation inside the entrance as to where all of the money goes.
We felt like it was just unloved and in need of some financial input and attention. Plants seemed to be overgrown, or dying and uncared for. There was a plethora of empty soil filled plant pots just lying around. Fruit left out for the butterflies was days old and smelt really bad.
What was more sad was there was there was a small fish pond with 2 large dead butterflies floating on the surface.
It was lovely to see some healthy butterflies flying around too and some crawled on our hands, there was also caterpillars which is a good sign.
The area with tarantula and scorpions etc was ok, but their tanks were small and didn't look very clean.
Just all looked really tired and in need of some love and care.
Lady on reception was very enthusiastic, well done you.
