V good breakfasts. Plenty of good looking stuff on menu. V busy had short wait. Good atmosphere, staff rushed off feet but coping perfectly and still cheerful. Loved it. Being packed in Aberystwith in middle of November probably says all you need to know. Went to Red Kite outside town next day. Also v good but Sophie’s edges it. Apart from the parking...

I picked Sophie's to go to with family as it had excellent reviews but sausages were v cheap low meat & rusk, pancakes taste & texture seemed like supermarket & the milkshakes I noticed are made with flavour syrups (no real fruit anywhere near these sensations!!?!). Also, I have no problem with instant coffee, but their's tasted with.

The waitress with Amy Winehouse make up was thoroughly unpleasant to everybody. The other two were lovely but the other who might've been supervisor ruined the experience being SO obnoxious & rude to all patrons.
There surely HAVE to be MUCH better places than this to have breakfast in Aberystwyth I really must believe.. this place is setting that bar VERY low.

On visit by coach so no time to search for a snack but was very happy to find this cafe, welcoming with friendly staff. Had delicious Welshcakes with butter and a refreshing pot of tea, I could have made 3 cups but only had two. It welcomes dogs, a doggie visitor was given some treats. It has outside seats . It is down a side street but worth finding if I wasn't having a meal at holiday hotel I would have tried one of theirs!

Rustic interior decor, interesting menu and friendly service. Good for breakfast/ lunch. Wi-Fi.
There are also outside tables. Can get busy lunchtimes.
