After stopping off at Bangor not knowing there is a pier we walked the length and on reaching the end noticed the small cafe. It was a really blustery day so after a short while we disided on a warm bowl of soup. The soup was diliceous and the views out of the windows were excellent and it seemed to be very popular.

After reading reviews on trip advisor I was looking forward to eating in the cafe. Between us we ate Welsh rarebit, seafood chowder, pea and ham soup, sourdough bread and lemon drizzle cake. It was all delicious. There's only enough room for 6 I think but it's cosy and very friendly. I'd really wanted to try the mussels but there weren't any so I must go back!

Beautiful views of the Menai Straits, Snowdonia and Anglesey as you enjoy the friendly chat of Terry and his lovely wife. The food is simple but tasty, it is the whole experience that you go for.
