Overall a great place to stay if you're looking for a bed for the night. Staff were very friendly, and were always there to help out. I would echo some thoughts on the being a tad over what I'd thought it should be (£70 seems more correct), not £80. The food was great, and a perfect start for the day. Location-wise it's perfect for a trip into the centre.
The staff more than made up for any of the minor negatives of this lovely, traditional B&B.

Stayed on a Saturday night for 1 night staying in a ground floor room with a large Bay window. The room was a bit crampt with limited space to manoeuvre and the TV on the wall was no more than 18 inches - like a large laptop. The reception service was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was traditional but the choice of cereals was very limited. The lady serving breakfast was very friendly and as long as you're OK with a traditional cooked full English then you should be satisfied. We paid £80 which I think is a bit on the high side but have no direct comparison in the immediate area. Bangor is not as attractive as Llandudno so I would try there first.

Just what we required, an overnight Saturday stay whilst in Bangor attending the wedding of some friends, this B&B met our requirements in that Free Parking yards from the door was provided and an excellent friendly greeting by the host, who showed us to our room for the evening. A clean, en-suite bedroom with two large beds met expectations and provided us with a restful nights sleep. Clean, friendly and just what we needed!

The B&B is in a great location, in between the town and the pier. It is a family run business and they are very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely. Very clean, reasonably priced and would recommend this B&B

We have been visiting the Baytree Lodge for the last three and a half years whilst our daughter was studying at Bangor University. If you want a good friendly guest house for one or two nights then this place should be considered. The ladies who run the place are lovely and friendly, the breakfast is nicely presented and plentiful and the location is ideal for the pier, shops and university. The rooms we have stayed in have always been clean but the décor is a little dated and in places shabby but this is probably reflected in the price we paid which we thought was reasonable.
