We love Llangollen and regularly stay at another site in our caravan, they don't have a tent field so we booked Tower Farm. The site is fine lovely location and the facilities were adequate. We had no problem with our pitch and have decided to take the caravan there soon as there was no problem with that field either. It depends what you are used to if you want caravan club standards book Lady Margret in nearby Chirk. I read reviews complaining about the "ramshakle farm buildings" before going and after staying there my opinion was that they are wasting a lot of the site's potential. I would love to be in a position to buy and develop the site and spend all my time in a place I love doing something I love. All in all we enjoyed it so much we will go back as soon as we can.

Just had our fifth holiday here and we are booked for next year. That says it all. It is peaceful with lovely views. Easy to get to the Eisteddfod. Trev and Mel are excellent hosts. They are relaxed but they keep good order. No hesitation to recommend.

Room Tip: Plot 4 some plots no good for big awnings

This is a great little site, just 15 pitches, plus a camping field, quiet and peaceful and set below the beautiful hills and mountains surrounding the town of Llangollen, which is just a ten minute walk away along the canal tow path... The site is in a circular field with all the pitches around the perimeter with a large grassy green in the centre so it's very spacious. The managers, Tref and Mel are so very welcoming and they always accompany everyone to their pitch.. Electricity is not included in the price but is on a pay as you need basis so can cost as little as £1 , depending on how much you use - a great system. There are all the usual facilities - toilets, showers, washing up, rubbish, toilet emptying etc., and all very well managed and kept clean.. This is a perfect location for the town of Llangollen and the regions beautiful scenic walks. Definitely one of our favourites!!
