We had lunched here last year and had enjoyed it so made a return trip. It was and enjoyable on too. The views from here are lovely and the food good, no wonder it’s always so busy. I had the soup, thick and tasty, good bread too. This was followed by the steak and ale pie, lots of meat and very tasty with excellent chips. The wife stuck with the fish a three smoked fish starter followed by a fish pie she said was the best she had eaten, and believe me that is praise indeed.
