Came across the toll house by accident. The warm welcome the wonderful fresh cakes tasty coffee and charming lady who pampered well was an experience I shall treasure of our holiday on the holy island. We purchase bespoke gifts and had a very traditional high tea fit for royalty.

The history of the toll house is fantastic. Best afternoon high tea of our holiday. You must visit this place is your in the area. It closes at 5pm. But the lady stayed open for us as we arrived at 4.50pm. Please visit. You will not be disappointed.

Called in without prior knowledge of it while walking the Coast Path yesterday.
First class choice of teas and a very highly commended carrot cake.
What made it special was the attention to detail/customer care when I asked for one slice to share with my wife.
Usually, this will get a slice and two knives/forks. No problem with that but here, the cake had been divided into two slices for us!
The smallest things are noticed.
Many thanks for your service.

We Called in here after walking around the Penrhos country park as its situated on the entrance road.

It's the old toll house, so is very small & compact. It has plenty of out door seating, very limited inside. They also have little sheds or summer houses which have tables & chairs inside for you to use if it's cold/windy. Dogs are very welcome & have a little treat of cheese off the owners!

We only had tea & cake in the little summer house, which was lovely & used their toilets. Cleanliness could be a bit better, also they seem to have 'stuff' everywhere, which in a small place makes it feel even more crammed & untidy.

Didn't have a meal so cannot comment on the food.

A beautiful sunny day and we could sit out in the garden. Super coffee and delicious cakes as always.

Had a lovely toasted teacake. in this fascinating little cafe. The owner took time to tell us the history of the building which is located at the entrance to a really nice wooded walk along the coast
