“Lovely little cottage”
Reviewed August 12, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We stayed in this lovely cottage for a couple of nights to visit the local steam railway. Its location was fantastic, within a 10 minute walk. The sound of the river was very relaxing and the village is very good for nice places to eat.

“Cosy Cottage”
Reviewed July 2, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Lovely cosy cottage for the two of us in a great location. Owner were very welcome and we loved listening to the babbling river just outside the window. The cottage was perfect location for us to do the Snowdon Ranger trail up to Snowdon. Food at the nearby Saracens head in the village was good.

“Lovely holiday stay”

Really enjoyed our weekend in Beddgelert at the Glascoed bungalow. The owner was very kind and welcoming, helping us with taxi companies for a wedding, directions and being very pleasant even when we arrived very late on Friday night. The bungalow is lovely and we felt very much at home, especially with the lovely extra touches such as fresh flowers, hot water bottles, blankets, wine and milk. The bed was really comfy, especially after a long day out, the kitchen was well equipped and the living room relaxing. The river running behind is fantastic, make sure to open the windows as you enjoy your morning cuppa to experience the noise of the water bubbling past. Highly recommend this as a base for a holiday in Beddgelert and would love to stay again.

“Great accomodation, great location.”
Reviewed September 8, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We stayed for 4 nights and I could happily have stayed for much longer. The accommodation was excellent, the owner presents the property really well with lots of lovely little touches. The location, within a five minute stroll of the village centre and right beside the river was beautiful and ideal for walks and accessing the Welsh Highland railway.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable and a really nice place for two people. There is a lovely patio area. The property has lots of natural daylight. There are a couple of steps into the kitchen area and the property is accessed via a slight slope, so as I believe is written in the guide description, it may not suit someone with mobility problems.
It was very straight forward to check in and leave. I would definitely stay here again.

“The perfect spot for exploring Snowdonia”

We loved our three nights here, and wished we could've stayed longer. The perfect spot with so many fantastic walks right on our doorstop. The cottage is comfy and cosy, but the biggest highlight for us was being right on the riverside!! A very tranquil place. Plus the dog enjoyed himself very much too!

“Cosy little holiday home in ideal location for touring Snowdonia.”
Reviewed August 18, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Clean & comfortable with seating in the riverside garden to watch the steam trains chuffing beyond. Stroll into Beddgelert village and discover the start of many lovely walks - leave the car behind. Great chippy nearby and plenty of eating out options. Friendly, helpful owners - a little gem!
