On our trip around Wales we stay three nights in Betws-y-Coed. The hotel is Royal Oak hotel. Because it is outside season they are renovating several rooms. It doesn’t effect our stay we got a large room with bath and shower. Good beds, only the view was less exciting. The personel is very friendly and we had lovely meals in the evenings. Great selection and very tasteful. The breakfast was simple, but good quality.
We did several outings by car.

Room tip: It was a long walk to the room but the room was spacious

Convenient parking, on-site pub-restaurant, and clean. Only down-side was how hot the bathroom was, and none of our playing with it lowered the temperature. Think other places in Betws offer more facilities for a similar price.

I met an old friend here for lunch and a good old catch up, when I visited North Wales recently. The food was fab., and the service faultless. I will most definitely return. Thank you for making our visit, so enjoyable

Called for lunch whilst on a mystery trip from our village .we ate in the bistro at the Royal Oak which was very good several other members of the party dined there as well all of them agreed they enjoyed their meals . There is a fairly large , varied menu . I had steak and ale pie, my wife had lasagne both of them home made and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient . Would certainly go again.

Called with friends and the food was fantastic and at a reasonable price, staff were friendly and the menu had a good range of dishes from a full roast to light meal, I would highly recommend this hotel
