I found this gem of a hotel by chance.I love llanberis for lots of reasons there is such a lot to do in the village the shops the snowdon railway and the people are so friendly. now i have another reason to make it one of my favorite places to return to. the hotel i normaly stay in was fully booked, and recomended that i try the lodges, I was very impressed with the room, and with the very pleasant man who introduced himself as bob, he was a mind full of information about llanberis and the local area. I slept well the bed was lovely and comfy.and the breakfast was second to none.I look forward to my next visit.

We stayed for one night, before heading up the Miners Path and back via the Llanberis. Bob gave us great advice on every aspect, and even lent us some of his personal equipment. I have stayed in many, many hotels and guest-houses around the world and I can honestly say that Bob's commitment to provide the best service is world class. Room clean and comfortable, breakfast outstanding, 'crack' and general hospitality unbeatable! We will be back.

In summary, a fantastic place to stay, which we would come back to, and recommend to others, at the drop of a hat.

Both of us regularly stay in great hotels through work - this easily surpassed many of them for comfort and welcome.

The room was comfortable, nicely decorated, with some lovely welcoming finishing touches. The bed comfortable, and the bathroom very spacious.

Breakfast was well presented and tasted as good as it looked.

It was great to be welcomed warmly by the host Bob, inspite of our late-ish arrival. The gift from him of a bottle of sparkle to celebrate the fact that we were his first booking was a lovely and much appreciated gesture.

We would both like to wish Bob and Tracy well in their venture, it will no doubt be a raging success.

From the moment we arrived with the warm friendly welcome to the last moment before our departure every single thing about this place was 1st Class.
Bob, the owner greeted us with warmth and genuine nice karma when we arrived, showed us to our room and was always available to give advice on local stuff.
The block of rooms, 5 in total (lodges is a bit wrong really) are beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The bathroom was a "wet room" style so showering was great in a large area. They even supply, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
Drinks of tea, coffee and even chocolate were supplied in the room along with crisps, if you get the munchies. There was even chocolate (not the drink but bars type) put out for the guests in the rooms as well, (we had Galaxy and Toffee Crisp).
Each room has a small balcony with a non slip artificial grass covering along with a table and two chairs.
OK, Food. This is my area of expertise. as we stayed two days we tried the breakfasts on two occasions, and both times i could not find fault. There were a selection of juices and cereals, but every place was set out with firstly a simple fruit salad of melon and orange, your main "full english" was indeed that, Full.
Eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoe, beans, mushrooms, hash browns all or any choice was available cooked to order and to ones own preference. There was loads of toast and the large cafetierre with good coffee was to die for.
Bob was quick to point out that all the produce for breakfast was locally sourced.
As we were walking whilst in Llanberis Bob even supplied (his) flasks with hot drinks of our choice to take up the mountain. Simple but a very welcom touch.
If you have never been to this village before and want it to be right without exception, don't bother wasting your time looking at others, just book this one, it makes sense.
Oh how i wish other proprietors at other places around the country had the same standards as Llanberis Lodges.
Many thanks for a great weekend.
Sharon & Mike

My friend and I booked the Llanberis Lodges as a place to sleep following the National 3 Peaks in 24 Hours Challenge. All we really needed was somewhere basic to lay our very weary heads, but what we got was a little piece of paradise with a fantastic host.
We were met by Bob who made us feel so very welcome, he even changed our allocated rooom so that we didn't have to walk another step more then we needed to!
Our room was beautiful. Clean, lovely plush carpet that our feet sank into, simple and tasteful modern decor, and with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There were even chocolate bars and crisps to pick us back up again.
Every room has a balacony or patio, and the views across the mountains were spectacular.
Breakfast was a lovely homecooked feast and nothing seemed too much trouble.
I will absolutely be booking to go here again...after next year's 3 peak challenge!!!!

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms have the best views, but a downstairs room is really not a compromise, all are beauti...

We have just returned from a weekend climbing Snowdon, and Llanberis Lodges was the perfect place to stay. The location was ideal, the accommodation was spacious, clean and modern, with all the facilities you should expect. The breakfast was wonderful and couldn't be faulted. Bob, the owner made it extra special, giving us invaluable tips about Snowdon, and which routes to use, the bus service, and great tips on local restaurants. Going far beyond his 'duties', Bob also chilled our post-climb champagne, provided glasses, and even poured it for us! If I was to return to Llanberis, Llnaberis Lodges would be my first port of call for somewhere to stay.
