The house was in the perfect location for our mountain walks. Everything was in the house that we required. The high street was only a 5 minute walk away.
We are a german family with three children and we spent a lovely week in Ty Tal. The children loved the bedroom "under the stars". We climbed Snowdon, the Glyderau, Moel Eilio, we visited some beuatiful castles and took a little train to Porthmadog with its beautiful beaches. We took great interest in the slate industry: the old quarry in Llanberis is very interesting with great views, too. The National slate museum is very recomendable, also for children.
Great location, close to high street, snowdon trials and both lake and snowdon railways. Street parking a bit tight in places. Good amenities provided on arrival. Overall, a very comfortable house. Loved the attic bedroom, great views from the skylights!
We decided to head to Llanberis for a long weekend away for our first wedding anniversary with our two enthusiastic border collies.
The house was perfect for our trip, hitting the nail on the head as somewhere well kept and comfortable to relax in, but with nice wooden floors you don’t worry so much about any muddy shoes or dogs!
On arrival we were delightes by the the Welsh cakes, cookies and milk for tea! The kitchen was well equipped with teas/coffees etc, but also great for cooking equipment and even Tupperware so we could take our sandwiches up Snowdon!
Great recommendation as well from the welcome guide for the Peak restaurant - great food after a day of walking!
Very nice and comfortable accommodation with everything needed to have a good stay, and handy to the town and Snowdon. Suggestion, pre book a meal in The Peak restaurant, it's really good.
An easy walk from the house to the facilities in Llanberis. Easy to park in the street. We found the house was clean, cosy and warm. Pet friendly. Plenty to do in the area, we went for the proximity to Snowden and happily discovered a lovely walk around the lake as well.
