“The perfect accommodation for visiting Snowdon & North Wales”
Reviewed September 2, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

A great cottage for a visit to Snowdon or North Wales, we were very impressed with the cleanliness and presentation of the cottage, the welcome pack was a lovely touch and the info in advance and service for booking was very efficient and helpful. Thank you for everything, we will definitely visit again.

“Perfect location, great size”
Reviewed August 17, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

I stayed here with my partner and two of our friends this weekend when we visited Snowdonia to climb Snowdon and visit Zip world to do the zip wires and bounce below (read separate reviews).

We picked this cottage because it was perfectly located to both climb Snowdon (The start of the Rhyd Ddu path is just 5 minutes away and the Snowdon Ranger path that we took back down is about 25 minutes down the road) and to get to Zip World. I'm so glad we picked here because it was lovely.

The cottage is a great size for four and, although there is no shower, the owners left us towels and the water heats up quickly enough to get you all through the bathroom in a decent enough time. The village is lovely too. We went to the pub for a beer on the way back from our walk (good selection and nice staff) and, although we didn't get chance to visit the tea room, it looked lovely and it's literally across the road from the cottage.

WARNING - The garden is beautiful (tiny but really quaint and you can watch the Snowdon steam train go past which is lovely) but not ideal for sitting out in so don't plan any BBQs (as we had) or you'll end up cooking it all in the oven.

The only teeny tiny improvement would be mattress toppers... The beds are a little uncomfortable... (especially when you've just climbed a mountain!!)

“Enjoyable stay”
Reviewed June 30, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Cefnan is a very comfortable lovely place. It is a home away from home.

If you are lazy to cook , there is 'Tea Room' in front and Pub is 2 mins walk.

If you want to climb 'Snowdon', one of the root lies 4 mins walk from Cefnan.
