Only visited once so far. I didn't try a lot of the menu - only had sausage and chips. Sausage was standard, Chips were very good and plenty of them. Very expensive for a chippy. Service was fast and friendly.

Six of us went for Fish and chips after a hectic day on a nearby beach.
Food was freshly cooked, and very tasty.
Service was efficient and friendly.
We sat outside on the table and chairs.
Good food, good value enjoyable end to the day.

Finnegan's in Llansamlet
We have visited around 8 times, the food is not cheap but if you want good food you have got to pay the money.

Nice selection of fish, however cod always my favourite from a fish and chip shop, chips are great as is the service. The fish is always cooked fresh and they also sell Evans pies. To make the meal complete have some mushy peas and finish off with an ice cream from Joe's next door, now that's what I call takeaway food.

I have also read some of the bad reviews that some people have posted and would suggest that if you had such a bad experience as some claim, why it go back and complain as I am sure that they would either replace the food or give you a refund as they see to be a company built on reputation.

Always enjoy our Finnegans chips!!! Beautiful cod and sausage too. Staff are always friendly. Sometimes it can get really busy but thankfully this time it was very quick service. Slightly higher prices than other chippies. Would always recommend!

Called today at lunchtime. For fish and chips, when we got home and plated it up we were stunned, the fish was raw and slimy beneath the batter which was also like rubber.
Chips were pathetic and the mushy peas were awful.
We have said in the past we wouldn't use this place again after earlier experiences. Decided today to give it another try. (BIG MISTAKE). Never again.
WASTE OF MONEY.
