We stayed here just for one night en route further West. It was a very pleasurable experience! The staff were excellent, room clean and comfortable. It was lovely to have breakfast in the same building rather than needing to go out to the adjoining Harvester. We ate in the Harvester on the Friday evening - it was VERY busy! However, we we dealt with pleasantly and efficiently, so although it wasn't a cosy meal for two, it was good nonetheless! Would definitely recommend it - especially as, despite the name 'Central', it really is only just off the motorway.

Better than average for a budget hotel. Our room was at the end of the top floor overlooking Sainsburys and was remarkably quiet. Really good beds and pillows and a shower big enough to turn round in! All the staff are really friendly and welcoming. We had the continental breakfast which seems a little expensive for what we ate but that's our appetite rather the amount on offer, and I noticed that under 16s ate free! Only slight downside is the parking. The hotel is obvious from the road but the access to the car park isn't, and the space is shared with the Harvester next door. Walking to the nearby Discount Shopping centre, which is worth going to, involves a detour through the car park and then Sainsburys car park. There's no easy path with children to the cinema that I could see.

Clean accommodation with very helpful staff. We booked a top floor end of corridor room in the quietest part of the hotel. We got it, except that the window was broken which let in noise and air. On our way out reception offered to swap our room and we did this when we returned from our night out. Sadly the heating had not been on in our room and it was cold as we were preparing for bed. Wished I had run back up and turned it on. Couldn't get room warm and wanted to leave heating on, trouble was it clicked off and I had several trips out of bed to switch it on again. Put on a sweater and slept. Second night was better, we were not disturbed by road noise which is a plus as this hotel suffers from being on an island in a road system surrounding it.. This was a small room with a small bed,bit of a crush but we managed. We booked and paid well in advance and got the £29 rate. At this price I would stay again but possibly only when I am on my own. The hotel is a just a few minutes walk from the Discount Shopping Centre which was a plus on second afternoon when I managed to have a couple of hours spare and got a couple of things at reasonable costs. Very convenient for M4. We did not eat in the hotel as we were visiting relatives. The staff really do work hard at trying to make your stay pleasant.

Room Tip: Phone ahead and book a quiet room.

We were a large party of 11 people in 4 rooms. The reception staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them even though they were very busy. We had 4 children in our party who were catered for very well. All staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms as always were clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent, made to order, fresh and served quickly. Great choice, the children enjoyed making their own toast and crumpets! (while a careful eye was kept on them by us all)
Parking was a slight problem because the site was also a shopping centre, Sainsburys and Harvester. We didn't use the Harvester but it was very, very busy.
On the whole an excellent PI and I would highly recommend it.

Have been critical of the PTI Swansea in the past, but the Bridgend Central is simply fantastic. Great staff, great welcome, great breakfast, even when it's busy. Location, just off the M4 is ideal, free parking, next to Shopping Complex, Cinema, 2 resteraunts etc. Stayed here plenty of times, and will continue to do so.

Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and I must say the hotel staffs are all nice and helpful. Serves good breakfast and rooms have decent space for a family of 4. If you are into shopping then this hotel is for you just a few steps to designers outlet. Also close to sainsbury service, and harvester restaurant. The only issues are there is no gym/indoor swimming pool and the rooms only have heater. But for the price and the staff I could not ask for more!!
