Great place if you want a short/long walk with plenty of signed walks on offer. Great scenery and plenty of seating available on walks. Good play area for kids along with other adventures to follow. Great cafe with food/drink at reasonable prices served by very friendly staff. Remember to purchase a £3 token from machine information /cafe to allow exit from carpark. Would definitely recommend.

Well worth a visit for a walk. It is a lovely place to spend the day - plenty of interesting walks, and lots of wildlife. There is a very good visitor centre, and from the seawall the views are amazing

Great way to entertain a 1 and 3 year old, so much to do and see, ideal if you want to sit with a coffee in the great coffee shop/ cafe. Kids loved it.

I have been visiting the Newport Wetlands since it opened. The site gives a good walk on the coast , but where are the birds? It would help if they put food out for them as they do at Slimbridge. The bird hides and viewpoints need some work to clear the reeds to open up the views. The cafe is nice but having the signage with Welsh first causes a lot of delays when ordering food. Finally the food is quite good but the cleanliness of the cups and utensils leave a lot to be desired. I don't think I will be going again as the last insult is the £3 car parking that has been introduced.
