Stayed over on a Sunday night to watch a Jess Glynne concert in the nearby Singleton Park, found a parking spot just outside on the road so that was good. The hotel was fresh and spacious, there was a kitchen area to cook in which we used late at night for a Indian takeaway we bought after the concert. Overall I’d say a great place to stay if you are going to any future concerts at Singleton park.
It’s a 20-30 minute walk into the city area and we walked to the Wetherspoons for breakfast on the Monday morning.

Just looking for a basic overnight stay, booked double room. We definitely got basic. The bed wAs a pullout. Crockery dirty. Bathroom smelly of dirty drains. Shower tiny and leaked. Poorly equipped. Nothing friendly , no pleasantries with this place. Felt very ‘studenty’. Really not nice.

Have stayed here numerous times, mainly due to its closeness to the restaurants and bars of the Uplands area. For my room, it was a bit of a haul up to the third floor, and the bathroom needs updating. Parking was not good but I was lucky this time! Staff are very polite and welcomed me back. Excellent breakfast. Overall, good value for money.

Room tip: Avoid third floor - no lift

Scratched Car under their CCTV cost me around £750 in excesses hire cars etc. Owner was rude, derogatory, Terrible place 1980s décor attracts ignorant & clearly dangerous people, one rude guest constantly blowed his nose in breakfast when people walked in. Rubbish everywhere around the rear entrance. Saw a Rat in the yard when I went to see the owner he ignored me. Parking was a nightmare with the owners red Mercedes blocking access to the side. Serious advice KEEP AWAY Rough area, not for decent people!

Room tip: Do not stay here if you have a car and are afraid of Rats!

Such a shame that you decided our place was so terrible after you had stayed here happily for 2 weeks. I am very sorry that your car was scratched, but can honestly say that if this happened in our car park then it was the first incident we have ever had. As for all your other comments, they are blatant lies. It is so sad when people use this site for spite, and attempt to ruin businesses.
