“Great Place”
Reviewed 12 April 2012

My new husband and I stayed here last weekend to have a wee break after the madness of our wedding. On arrival we were greated by the recpetion staff who i have to say were very welcoming and helpful. We checked into room 536 which was a decent sized room with everything you could ever need. Rooms and the hotel itself were extremley clean and dispite being fully booked over easter weekend everything was spoitless. We ate in teh resturant which was good value for money and food was very nice. Alcohol was a little more expensive but this is usually the case at all hotels. Breakfast was great as you could have as much as you wanted which suited my husband down to the ground, again the staff were very friendly. I myslef had been unwell with the flu and teh staff at teh front of house etc couldnt have done enough for me to make sure i had everything i needed. A huge thank you again to all at Jurys from the newly weds!

this is a large, totally impersonal hotel with ugly rooms, smelly corridors, a terrible restaurant and lousy service. It is well located though. But I would not recommend it in any way.

Upon arrival at the hotel expectations are high, we have been charged 240 for 2 nights in what is advertised as a "triple room". We are greeted by the reception staff who inform us we won't be able to check in until 2pm despite being told on the phone we could be in by 12 so we wait......... At 12 the reception supervisor kindly says we can have a room! We take the lift to the 1st floor and check in to room 101...... Here's we're the problems begin...... The room is set up with a slightly larger than single bed a so say double and a small single bed (like a young child's bed) not a great start, all 3 of us desperate for a shower go to grab some towers.... We only have 2, the room is clearly a double they have crammed 2 beds in to.... The television in the room is something from
The early 80's a huge thing with poor signal and a remote the batteries keep falling out of.... Asking at reception if there is any other room available I am
told they are fully booked and we can't.... Thanks for the help!

Night 1....

The inch gap at the bottom of the door is meaning the vending machine may as well be in our bedroom the constant humm and clank of it being used is almost unbearable as is the twenty four hour ping of the elevator..... A very poor night sleep is ahead.....

Heading to by the bar the next day we are shocked by the prices charged £4 a bottle of beer and £5+ for a single measure.....

Also worth a note is the constant annoyance of the sight seeing sellers at the front of the hotel that waltz around the foyer like they own the place.... Also worth avoiding the downstairs toilets that are constantly used as a public toilet by the local taxi drivers.... Somebody in the hotel is obviously on the payroll for these guys..... A constant annoyance for guests....

Breakfast is average and for lunch the curry tastes like a tesco microwaveable meal not what you'd expect for £10....

In all a poor hotel with some nice staff that are helpful.

A helpful tip is to ask the staff that are on the floors for things like irons and towels the main reception staff won't help you!!!

Stayed here for my hen weekend over St Patricks Day with 8 friends. Were early to check in so they kept our bags to the side while we explored our surroundings. No problem when we did check in. All our triple rooms were a decent size and clean. We all asked for extra pillows and an iron & board and they arrived at the door quickly with no fuss. We asked not to have room cleaned next day so a bag was left for us with fresh towels and tea/coffee on our door which was nice. Doors locked from around 11pm and they are strict about only letting guests back in which is good for safety. Location was fantastic especially for the price we paid £40 pp for 2 nights!!!!! Cross the road down the lane and viola the main square! The bus station too was a 5 minute walk if that! The pubs close by were great and the staff v helpful on recommendations. Breakfast was extra and was tasty :) overall very good and would definitely go back

If you need or want to stay in Belfast for a few days I can warmly recommend Jurys Inn. There was a very friendly & relaxed Belfast atmosphere here, efficient staff and a nice little buzz about the place. It reminded be of how Belfast used to be before the troubles kicked in.
The room was as you would expect from Jurys, comfortable and ulititarian. All the usual facillities. The cost was very reasonable for meself, partner and young fella.
The location is just perfect,in a great area and a short walk from the City Hall. So, overall I was very happy with my stay here.

Room Tip: room 336 we got free wi-fi.Young fella said it was because we were directly above modem. Go Figure!

My friends and I had a great 2 night stay here on 17th -19th of March. We arrived on an early flight and the hotel let us put our bags in a holding room until we returned later when our room was ready. The reception staff were very warm and friendly, over what was a very busy weekend. The rooms are basic but nicely decorated, after all, we only wanted a clean bed and shower. We heard very little noise and the beds are uber comfy.....
This hotel is worth every penny, you are so close to all amenities. The bus station is less than a 5 min walk away, The Opera House is just round the corner and across the road virtually you will find the historic Crown Bar.
Belfast, we can't wait to return......a very friendly city indeed.

Room Tip: We were in 331....it was nice and quiet, as at the rear of the building.

We stayed here for one night before catching an early morning flight from George Best Airport. We had a second floor room which was a little dated but kept very clean, allocated to us by a very friendly receptionist. The best thing about Jurys Inn Belfast for us was the location, which is a 2 minute walk from the bus station. The shuttle to the airport leaves every 20 minutes-the first departure is at 05.45-and cost £3 one way or £4 return. We left Jurys at 05.35 and were checking in for our flight at 06.00.Also the Hotel is right next door to The Opera House, Sadly it was closed when we were there.
