“Perfect spot in Belfast”
Reviewed February 19, 2012 for a stay in February 2012

Owners lovely - flat very new so clean, comfortable, cosy - as expected from other reviews. Would use again - totally safe & secure - convenient for shops & sights - would like to return when the new Titanic building has opened. Belfast is a smashing place for a city break.

“Great location - both for Belfast city on foot and surrounding area by car”
Reviewed October 21, 2011 for a stay in September 2011

Excellent quality flat with modern facilities all to high quality. Flat is extremely secure and safe as it is in fully secure block and car park underneath is also completely secure. Unusual in that although within easy walk of city centre, it has secure car parking - thus allowing us to hire a car and visit outside the city as well.

Good welcome by Thomas who made sure we had everything we needed and was very flexible and helpful.

Nice view of river / ships etc (over the road).

Whilst the flat is next to a busy road / railway this did not disturb us and to be honest if you are staying in a city you cannot expect complete quiet!

We will definitly use this flat again if / when we go to Belfast again.

“Clean, comfortable and convenient”
Reviewed August 29, 2011 for a stay in April 2011

I stayed at the Antrim Suite with my mother and brother for about 10 days in early April 2011. The unit was very clean, spacious and well-decorated. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The building is located in downtown Belfast, within walking distance of numerous amenities and attractions. The only negatives we experienced with the unit were (i) a small issue with the water temperature and (ii) the lack of WiFi/internet access. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely consider staying at the Antrim Suite again the next time we are in Belfast.

Management Response
4 Oct 2011
Thank you for your review.

As a new business we take the guests reviews seriously to maintain a high standard. The apartment is in a new building so we expect a few minor problems at the start. The issue with the water temperature was sorted out as there was a problem with a thermostat. We now supply an internet dongle for our guests

Regards

Thomas

“A great place to stay in Belfast”

We stayed in Antrim Suite for twelve nights with a group of three while on a teacher course in Belfast.
Antrim Suite was just perfect for us! The apartment is on the fifth floor of the Obel Tower, the tallest building in Northern Ireland. It´s on the bank of the river Lagan.

The apartment is spacious, very clean and well-equipped. Large living area with two comfortable leather sofas, flatscreen TV and dining table. The kitchen has a large fridge & freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and kettle. Just everything we needed.
Really a nice place to have breakfast, prepare a meal or have a glass of wine in the evening.
The view overlooking Belfast Lough is really stunning, especially in the evening.

There was a welcome pack when we arrived which meant we didn´t have to rush to supermarket on arrival.

The master bedroom is very spacious, has a large double bed, large dressing table and a wardrobe. The small ensuite bathroom has a shower.
The twin bedroom is smaller in size, two comfortable beds with bedside tables, a dressing table and a wardrobe. Bedlinen and towels are provided.
Windows seem to have a good soundproofing, but being so close to motorway and rail line it is of course not absolutely quiet in both bedrooms.
The main bathroom is large and has a bathtub.

There is also a washing machine / tumbler, quite useful if you stay for a longer period.

The location of the apartment is great, too. Very close to the Cathedral Quarter, the big fish, Albert Memorial Clock, Belfast Barge, Odyssey Complex and just about 10 mins walk to City Hall, Victoria Square Shopping Centre, Central Station and St. George´s Market.
We really liked McHugh´s pub on Queen´s Square, especially the food is great and good-value. The Spaniard on Skipper Street is a great place for a drink.

It was our first visit to Belfast and we´d love to go there again. There is so much to see and do. People are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
We would definitely book Antrim Suite again. Tommy, the owner, made sure we had a great stay in Belfast. He made us feel very welcome. He even gave us a lift to the Buscentre when we left.
