I stayed here 1st-3rd June along with my friend and her daughter. We can't praise the hotel enough, staff were friendly, rooms clean and well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and toiletries.Breakfast was first class, we had dinner on Sat in the bar which was excellent. Staff called a taxi for us any time we needed one (which was pretty often), it cost about £6 into the city center, a lot cheaper than taking the car & paying for parking. This was my first time staying here and it won't be my last. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Belfast.

Nicely appointed rooms, in the heart of a "village " area of Belfast known as Strandtown, this hotel scores highly on a number of points.

It's in close proximity to George Best airport (about £6 by taxi), but set quitly in its own grounds with great car parking.

It has a decent restaurant and good food in the bar as well, which does a brisk trade with the locals , especially over lunch time.

A stroll beyond the gates brings every local amenity you'd ever need, from Tesco local to a choice of decent modestly priced restaurants, a neatly kept multiplex cinema and a 24 hour petrol station,

All the major city centre haunts are within 10 minutes by cab and several local bus routes, as is the Odyssey centre, the Titanic centre and the local village of Holywood. This area of the city also provides easy access to the main arterial routes to explore the rest of Northern Ireland, with the furthest away destinations like Enniskillen about an hour and forty minutes away.

Staff are very friendly, this is a family business, and combine this with good local knowledge and a willingness to assist you don't tend to get in the huge chains.

If you stay there venture to Holywood for a meal at the Dirty Duck. It's a local landmark and justifiably so.

I suppose I'm lucky, I can walk there!

I booked the Park Avenue to deliver a 4 hour presentation to business owners from across N Ireland. The professionalism of the staff was second to none, the facilities were excellent, the hospitality world class and the location of the hotel, the nearest to Belfast City airport, couldn't be bettered.

I recommend it to you without reservation.

Room Tip: Book early to avoid disappointment

Although I never usually write a review, I am both a critical business and a critical leisure traveller. Now living in England, I last stayed at this place over 20 years ago. Of course I expected a big improvement, but it was just a fantastic transformation into exquisite, affordable luxury. Added, a choice of great value to top-end room prices. Too boring to list the excellence throughout, but you can tell that it's a family (not a corporation) operated business, delivering far superior service than large chain hotels. Business or leisure, this place is quite sublime throughout, and when I next return to Belfast, Ishall not stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: I'm pretty sure you can stay in a choice of rooms, from great value to top-end, all of which I...

Very convenient location near City Airport and close to the City. Staff are friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. Rooms very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. We organised a family lunch by email and everything went perfectly with very good generous meals. Good value for money.

A lovely, clean, nicely situated hotel on the outskirts of Belfast. We stayed here for 3 nights and the service from the staff from arrival to departure was excellent. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was superb. The room was nice and big and airy with a huge bed and a nice clean bathroom, very comfortable indeed. Great value for money and well worth a stay if you are visiting Belfast and the Titanic Exhibition.

From booking the reservation until checking out the service was terrific. Very professional, helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel location was perfect a cheap taxi ride in and out of the city centre . Excellent value for money rooms were spacious and the price included breakfast which was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel . We were a group of ladies celebrating my 40th birthday and the hotel kept our rooms together and the next morning there were no phonecalls asking us to check out which was refreshing . Overall an excellent experience. We'll be back !!!
