Owner description: The Titanic Belfast visitor attraction extends over nine galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition. Drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features you will explore the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. The journey goes beyond the aftermath of the sinking, to the discovery of the wreck and continues into the present day in the Ocean Exploration Centre.

Loved this place. There is lots to see .staff are friendly.
Only thing is it's a bit pricey, especially for food. Worth a visit tho.

Great displays however could do with some tlc - a number of displays had biro drawn all over them and in some displays lights weren't working and so it was hard to read the artefact and or information

There is a ride and for us we queued half an hour for this. We didn't really know what to expect. It was good however I wouldn't queue that long for it again. Could be exciting for younger children.

The museum starts with information on Belfast industry before going on about the construction on the titanic and then the disaster itself and how this shaped regulations

I personally find the topic of the titanic very interesting and learnt a lot that I did not previously.

There is a good shop and two restaurants. However the food queues were very long. We found some nice cafes a two minute walk from the museum instead and had lunch at one called paper cup which I would highly recommend

Went on Easter Sunday although it was busy it was well managed . Trail for kids kept their interest and we went for afternoon tea it was really good too much food and free kids egg decoration with Dylan who was the perfect personality to keep kids calm and entertained . Our waitress a polish girl really friendly and fun and Rory on the front desk just a pleasure to deal with

Good stop in Belfast! Learned lots about the city and it’s history which was nice. It was quite pricey though, and PACKED. Food in the restaurant wasn’t great. There is lots of info and reading though, and we really enjoyed the historical aspects!

Having heard so much about this tourist attraction right on our doorstep we thought it would be a good place to go on a rainy day...our three children were very excited...We booked tickets for 1.30. It said arrive 15 mins early so I made sure we were there on time so that we could start off with our group and guide...

However unlike other museums we’ve been to there was no guide and no real ‘order’ of where to begin...all a bit random.

You couldn’t hear some of the talking from the speakers because of noise coming from other areas of the exhibition...the place appeared to be understaffed...there were hardly any members of staff in any of the galleries...children were running about unsupervised and messing about with the interactive displays...many of the displays needed bulbs replaced...some of the animated visual displays had no sound...I tried to make a comment on my visit on leaving however the apparatus used to record your comments wasn’t working...surprise surprise ...others were missing...

All in all quite disappointing...embarrassing too that a museum that can charge so much can care so little about the visiting public...

Thanks for taking the time to get in contact and I’m sorry to hear that your visit fell below expectations.

We operate a self guided one-way system within our galleries - the main reason for this is one of continuity in the story that is being told. The galleries take the visitor on a chronological journey from Titanic's conception and design right through to where she lies today. We are hoping to highlight that this story is more than one of failure, but one of incredible historic significance in the history of Belfast and the future of the shipping industry.

I can only apologise that some of the displays were not working at full capacity during your visit. And am very sorry to hear that you felt your visit was below the 5* experience we strive for.

Thank you again for your custom thus far and for taking the time to post your feedback - I'll make sure it forms part of our next review.
