An extremely busy place especially at lunch time. Many of the customers appear to be regulars, a good sign. Despite the busyness of this small place it has an extensive moderately price menu. Service was friendly and served reasonably promptly. Parking spaces nearby can be difficult to find.

I like to visit this place as often as can as I love their open sandwich breakfast. It may be a small place but food is lovely and people are friendly

Never had a bad experience in here. The food is always beautiful, so tasty and good value for money, it is not overly expensive. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and there is such a good atmosphere in the cafe. The only thing I would say that because it is so popular, if you hit it at a busy time there are sometimes no seats but that is something that can't be helped.

Have been going to no. 36 for the last 4 years as it’s just round the corner from us. Great service but the food really shines! Great for brunch, loads of emphasis on homemade and local produce.

Open breakfast sandwich is a favourite, scones and traybakes are great too! Can be busy at peak times but that’s testament to the food the guys are knocking out!

Great choice. Sandwiches/toasties/bagels particularly good.. Good value. Large portions. Very good flavours. A friend of ours is celiac, but we discovered so is the chef, so no worries there.. ! Unpretentious and value for money. Superb.
