My boyfriend and i went to Kitch on the 3rd of August, i think we arrived around 9pm and were informed at the door that there would be a bit of a wait for the food, we decided it was worth waiting (we've eaten here before and it was amazing that time too) and were seated near the bar. It was a little busy as there were several large tables. We did have to wait around 15 minutes for a drinks order to be taken but we expected that and we were not annoyed in the slightest as the staff were all very busy. We both decided to order the steaks rare accompanied by the prawns (i think?) that came in a garlic sauce and a side of the rosemary and cheese fries. when the food arrived we were both absolutely blown away, the steaks were cooked perfectly, they came with chunky chips, mushrooms and onion rings. Personally, i dont like onion rings but decided to try them anyway- they were delicious. seasoned and cooked perfectly with a crunchy and light batter. I cant even put into words how good the food was. All the staff were lovely, helpful and funny despite the busy room, staff they weren't visibly stressed and took the time to actually treat us like people rather than simply trying be nice to get money off of us. we were mainly served by a younger fair haired gentleman.
