We spent a week in this beautiful house recently. Phoebe met us on arrival and gave us a warm welcome and showed us round. It is in an excellent location, a few minutes down to the beach and harbour or up to the town. I hope to return often. There is so much room and everything you need is there. The beds are comfortable and the showers are good. My heart broke a bit when we closed the door behind us on the last day. The Central Bar and O'Connor's in town are great for food and a good night out. Mortons down by the harbour does the best fish and chips and fish chowder you'll find anywhere. Ballycastle is a wonderful town and Cushleake House is a gem of a place. Highly recommended. Thanks to Phoebe for the bottle of wine too ☺
Stayed inCushleake house a few times over the last few years and it still fails to disappoint. Lovely spacious house with all the mod cons. Pheobe the landlady is a pleasure to deal with. She aleays makes you feel welcome. The bottle of Hardy's red wine was a lovely welcome gift and went down well with myself and my friends after a long journey on our motorbikes. The house is in a cracking location very near the center of town and only a very short walk to either the seafront or the the bars and restaurants in town. We will be booking again for our next trip. Thankyou Pheobe.
Stayed for 5 nights in Cushleake House and the Garden Cottage.
Wonderful accommodation, clean, modern, comfortable, spacious... home from home!
Phoebe, the owner is great, very helpful and friendly! I would definitely recommended this letting to everyone, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Antrim coast, with plenty to see and do within walking distance.
Just spent a long weekend at Cushleake to celebrate my husband's 70th Birthday with our family 8 adults and 3 children! Cushleake is extremely comfortable and well fitted out, especially the large kitchen, which worked really well for the birthday meal. We arranged for Julia a local chef to cook the meal and she also made a fabulous cake - the evening was brilliant! Arrangements with Julia in the run up was very smooth, helping with menu choices, timings etc.
Cushleake was very warm and cosy, even though it was snowing for some of our stay! There are several reception rooms, so able to spread out for games, TV etc. Very clean and comfortable. Lots to see in the area, really loved Ballintoy and Giants Causeway.
Overall we can highly recommend Cushleake as a fabulous family holiday home with the added bonus of being able to organise a special meal!
Thank you Phoebe and Julia!
We stayed here at the end of August and it was great! I definitely agree with all the good things the other reviewers have said.
We were a party of 8 and there was plenty of space. The kids loved being all together in the bunk bed room, but the kitchen was the star of the house. Absolutely lovely and very well equipped.
Phoebe was great during both the booking process and our visit. There were all sorts of really nice touches too. The folder of tourist information was very useful and the fresh flowers on arrival were lovely. Thank you Phoebe!
If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the Antrim coast and are a large party Cushleake House is perfect! Go for it!
A fantastic property for a large group. Everything there that you could possibly need with a very central location.
