“Second Visit to this Wonderful Haven”
Reviewed June 13, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Our Second Stay at "Cobblers" has been Home from Home for us.
This wonderful 200 + year old Irish Cottage situated in the foothills of the Sperrins Mountains for us is the ideal location to explore all that Northern Ireland has to offer.
It's comfortable, warm and welcoming.
The owners Margaret & Eamon

Love the Welcome pack Home made Irish Soda Bread with warm Butter is the ideal start to the day, and finish to an evening.

Thank you Cooney family for this lovely review. Delighted you enjoyed your 2nd holiday in Cobblers Cottage & got your batteries recharged! We agree the cottage is a central location for exploring the North as you can reach the top attractions (Giants Causeway, Titanic etc) in about an hour. Glad you visited our local attraction too this year...An Creagan. Next year I'll teach you how to make Homemade bread Anthony! Have a good year.

“A great getaway, a real home from home.”
Reviewed May 29, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We stayed here in May for a friend's birthday and I honestly couldn't recommend it enough.
From the great hospitality shown by Margaret and Eamon to the amazingly dog friendly facilities available and the fantastic local walks for all the family to enjoy.
The cottage is quite close to local forest walks and towns (by car)
I would recommend that you visit Drum Manor forest park. Fantastic walks and plenty of places for a picnic.
We can't wait to come back.

Thank you Lisa Marie for taking the time to write this lovely review. We love when guests explore our local area as you did. As you say Drummanor is a beautiful forest park. Next time you visit you can bring Fidget and Bonnie for a walk to An Creagan, Loughmacrory, Davagh or Gortin Glens, although, judging from photos on Facebook they really enjoyed the garden in front of the cottage! They were perfect guests too, by the way, and you'll all be very welcome again.

“I wished I didn't have to leave!”
Reviewed April 26, 2017 for a stay in June 2016

Just a fabulous cottage and hosts! Upon our arrival we were welcomed with a basket of Irish goodies and homemade soda bread, delicious to say the least! Cottage has everything you could ask for, as we had been traveling Ireland on motor bikes and use of a washing machine was in much need! Cottage is close to many attractions, relics and 40 mins to Belfast, Giants Causeway, Carrick-rope bridge and the beach! Yes I say beach as our weather was just outstanding the 4 day we stayed. We hope to get back in 2018 for another visit!

Thank you Mary for writing this lovely review. We loved hearing about all your adventures on your motor bikes. Cobblers cottage is an ideal location to use as a base when exploring the North and you certainly visited a lot of attractions. Glad you enjoyed our cottage facilities too. You and Walt will be very welcome back in 2018 to see more of Ireland.

“The place itself plus the thoughtful presentation will relax you totally”
Reviewed January 18, 2017 for a stay in January 2017

The fact that this was once a family home, connected to Margaret and Eamon, makes it a privilege to stay. The surprisingly roomy cottage is charming and completely renovated with all mod cons. In the winter chill it's a fab place to snuggle down of a night. During the day you are ideally placed to explore the best of Tyrone and the Sperrins or further afield. Hard to overstate how much I enjoyed the stay - so much, in fact, that I was tempted to keep it to myself. The cottage has all you could need - more impressive than a Swiss army knife.

Hopefully you will return again to explore more of Tyrone & the Sperrins (An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty)

“Irish charm with a great welcome”
Reviewed November 7, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Stayed in October 2016 as a family of five. Fabulous traditional Irish cottage lovingly restored with home comforts, wonderful welcome from the owner complete with basket of goodies (including home made soda bread - delicious!) Real wood burner which was a treat to sit around in the evening cosy and warm, amazing dark skies for star gazing. Ideal base for exploring both Northern and Southern Ireland with many places to visit. Good selection of games, dvds etc in cottage and swing, see saw and basketball hoop to keep daughter occupied. A real find and pictures reflect what the cottage is like but the reality was even better. First visit to Ireland and we were not disappointed!
