I could have reviewed this hotel average for dormitory quality beds. They squawked everytime you move and had zero padding. however the bartenders were very friendly and the range from good to excellent

My partner and I recently visited here for a meal.

The meal was served piping hot and efficiently. Tasty, fresh produce.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Plenty parking outside.

We will recommend to others for a meal.

The hotel location is good for the airport, but being on the flight paths can be abit noisy certainly during the day, not a problem during the night. The room was ok I think the bed could benefit from anew mattress and maybe consider quilts rather than sheets and a bedspread. The staff were superb and the breakfast was delicious all in all worth a visit

The Hotel is at the end of the runway of Aberdeen airport so yes its handy for travellers, its decorated in parts very well and in others areas, quite tired. My flat Screen Tv and massive 1980's DVD seems like antiques compared to other Hotels tech. The staff have that Scottish no nonsense about them, not unfriendly just slightly brusque. I walked into the bar, a few individuals on business hovering around seems weird, I asked for a pint, a menu and "can I eat in the bar?" "No" came the short reply. Then a waiter arrived and escorted a guest to the restaurant...I thought a bit formal!. Ive never had this experience unless its a very upmarket Hotel and this isn't upmarket so for single travellers, its not as welcoming as other places. The food was standard enough, the hotel is ok for 1 night, my room had a small wet room design which meant once you showered the floor was drenched and therefore unusable unless you wore shoes....in your bedroom! I mentioned the Restaurant only bit on check out and they used to allow guests to eat in the bar....but that was 12 years ago!! Its a bit pompous and formal for me, but you may like it.

Literally 2 minutes from the airport, booked as early flight out, after 3 nights stay. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The restaurant and bar areas appeared to be recently refurbished and were of a high standard. If we lived locally we could see ourselves visiting the bar for a quiet drink, as it was nicer than the pubs we tried in Aberdeen city centre.

Breakfasts (included in nights stay) were very good, the full Scottish sets you up for a day's sightseeing. We only ate there on one night, and found all dishes to be very good, especially the lamb, and the tiramacsu (tiramasu made with whisky).

The waitress that evening was the lady who had been on duty at breakfast (14 hours earlier!!) but she was just as friendly and efficient, even after a long day.

The bar is well stocked with a range of on tap beers, and a good selection of spirits, especially gins ( which included House of Elrick, from Aberdeen, which only recently was featured on Dragons Den).

The rooms whilst not vast were very clean, I would ask for a second bath towel if you are 2 to a room, but there were soft and firm pillows provided, and the central heating was instant, if needed.

I would, not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Aberdeen, and when next visiting family in Aberdeen will stay again

Room Tip: Any room would seem okay as a quiet residential area, with little through traffic
