This hotel was clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed here for two nights when attending a family wedding and was delighted when the staff offered to book our taxis for us. They also had a really good deal on breakfasts and would highly recommend as it was delicious and very fulfilling. The weather was really warm and the staff were thoughtful enough to put a large fan in our family room, most helpful! They also gave us an iron for our wedding garments... absolute godsend! Had a lovely stay at this hotel and could not recommend enough.

We spent three nights here for which were charged a total of £100. This was so cheap that we were a bit worried. But no problem. The hotel is situated just off the A90 Aberdeen ring road but set well back from the road. There is an expansive car park outside it. The site is shared with a Toby Carvery restaurant, the Cocket Hat, and the two appear to have been part of the same development originally.

Positives. Premier Inn hotels may be bland but you hardly ever get a nasty surprise. You know exactly what you are going to get. Our room was good sized, well equipped, well maintained and clean. The reception staff were cheerful and efficient. TV and free Wi-Fi were both excellent. Our room was quiet and we hardly even noticed other guests.

Possible negatives. No aircon but that didn't trouble me since I am not keen on aircon. The fan provided was fine in making the place feel cool. The bus service into the city centre looked challenging for a stranger to the area. That said, just cross the A90 then walk down Mid Stocket Road and keep going for 40 minutes and you will be in the city centre. The on-site Toby Carvery offers huge portions of comfort food at cheap prices - and you either like that sort of thing or you don't.

Would we come here again?. Sure, if we are ever back in Aberdeen and come by car.

Room Tip: I guess that rooms facing away fromthe main road are quieter

The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and the price was right. I chose this hotel over others in the area because it has easy and direct access to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as well as spacious and safe on site parking. The only drawback for me is no air conditioning or fans in the room, however Scotland is rarely warm enough to warrant those items. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.
