Quiz is brilliant but you need to be there at 7 to get a seat and then the quiz doesn't start until 9 so you don't leave until after 11 and by then lots of teams have left because it's getting too late. If it started at 8 it would it would be perfect.

Very nice bar with lots of locals drinking and having the crack, Monday night they have the best quize night in Aberdeen!! My husband likes that they always have great craft ale. The guys behind the bar Calum and Duncan are very nice and make everyone fill at home. It's a great please to come for a few drinks after work or to watch the football rugby. Great friendly local bar.

Fantastic range of locally sourced craft beer and Scottish Gins, all the usual suspects pouring on draught. Four cask ales and 50 whiskeys, all the sports on the TV, an open fireplace and dog friendly what more could you ask?

The location was very convenient to my hotel (Skene House Whitehall). The pub is adequate, but far from exceptional. The staff was not terribly welcoming (thanks for lecture on the importance of signing the back of my credit card), but it is an OK place to stop for a pint.
