Arriving in early afternoon allowed us to park in front of the hotel as it was very tight at the rear. We visited a bustling town to decide where we intended to eat that evening and it was possibly because it was the day of the Shinty Final that it was so busy. We decided on three alternatives, then climbed up 'Cardiac Hill' to prepare for the evening. When I stepped into the shower the whole rail collapsed on top of me so maintenance had to be called and it seems that this had happened before.
After a pleasant meal, cardiac hill again and a good night's sleep in rather a small room, we were treated to a very good freshly cooked breakfast.
Apart from the shower mishap, this was a very ordinary hotel but served excellent breakfasts to the table and not from a servery.
A useful stopover for a Scottish Tour.More
