the hosts even offered us a wee dram after dinner, in the lovely conservatory. we stayed in a room with an ensuite. terrific bathtub! the host cooked a sensational dinner (she was a caterer). fun decor! we toured dryburgh abbey (one of our favorites among many) and had dinner in st boswell's at the buccleuch arms bistro (featuring an extensive craft made gin menu). and we flyfished the river tweed for trout. all in all, a terrific time in the scottish borders.
