We arrived in two groups of two for a sporting event in Glentrool. We therefore arrived quite late and left very early for the event. We got an incredibly friendly reception at Baytree, who really couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were really comfortable, with good amenities and even a complementary glass of sherry each :-) We had a lovely conversation with our hosts, and a tour of the hotel. We ate at the pub a few door down (The Selkirk Arms - see review) which was very good. Breakfast was good. All in all a really pleasant and comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

I stayed for one night en route to a mountain running event - and would definitely go back for a more leisurely stay.

The b&b is lovely, the welcome incredibly friendly and the rooms to a good standard with some lovely touches.

Thank you!

We loved our stay in this quaint B&B. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Room was comfy and we loved the very comfy sitting area provided for guests. Very large selection of DVDs, large screen TV, comfy sitting area and plenty of touring information, games and books. After a long day of touring around it was so nice to come back and relax in this room. Glasses were provided if you wanted to have a BYOB evening or a lovely decanter of sherry was provided with the room. We enjoyed walking around town with a beautiful castle overlooking the town and a friendly pub with a pool table.
