Who'd have thought? But what a lovely little place. Very well run, good food, good wines, great staff, relaxed set up. Its very new and the team are clearly proud of what they have set up. Congratulations. Needless to say the pork dishes were super and the wines a great match recommended by our very knowledgeable waiter from Portugal.

Came across this gem when wandering around Leith. Sat outside on a beautiful sunny day. Had some tapas and a few drinks, estrella damm and white rioja. Staff very friendly. Did not want to leave and can't wait to return the next time we are in Leith.

We happened upon this gem when our friends suggested a night out and their timeline was later than ours. Not only was the black pig & oyster a pleasant surprise, but it left us inspired for more. The service was exceptional, the menu creative and artistic, and the delivery executed expertly. The design and feel of the restaurant is classic and alluring. Marian waited on us and created an experience! We had oysters, pinchos (per Marian's suggestion), and a goat cheese creation. All elements of the food tied together beautifully! Dessert was a dream! Each bite was exquisite! We found the wine list and menu divine! If you are seeking a night to indulge in artful dining this is the place to go. We are hopeful this gem takes off and continues to uphold their excellence in service. The atmosphere & food here is exactly what most luxury or Michelin star restaurants aspire to achieve every night! They do it effortlessly. We will be back again and treat ourselves before our flight back home. I am gluten free and this restaurant delivers a plethora of options that made my heart happy.

A lovely setting, with a good menu promised so much.
All dishes were nice, the scallop starter was fine as were the prawn croquettes and the Iberian pig delivered - very good.
Although it was not too busy, it felt a bit slow suggesting they were one person short. Consequently no time for banter to allow a connection with the guests. All in all quite good, not much work to do to turn from quite good to great. Some food I felt needed some seasoning, for me. Another restaurant with no seasoning on the table but that didn't stop me getting some myself. Service I felt was a bit mis matched and for the price it should be consistent with the food.

The restaurant is lovely and has been finished well and the service is good. Unfortunately we felt it was overpriced, the ham and cheese pre tapas at almost £10 was literally two thin SLITHERS of cheese and a few more thin slithers of poor quality ham - the ham is carved in the restaurant so no excuse for the fatty pieces we were given, it was unchewable and I spat most of it out. There are various offers noted on social media which are out of date as are the menu choices and not the same food as advertised. We enjoyed the food that we could eat but must admit we have enjoyed much better meals at Serrano Manchego and Tapa nearby and the menu variety is better. We wanted to try here as live locally and glad we did but won't be back unfortunately :(
