This was a fantastic stay - beautiful rooms, excellent service, central location, delicious breakfast, inspiring decor.

Everywhere you look in this hotel there is something beautiful to look at!

There are some lovely touches like the free mini-bar. The place really offers good values for money.

I will definitely be back :)

This hotel was the absolute best! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were excellent and the shower was the best! The location was so good, close walking distance to all the attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A quick city break, only spent the nights at the hotel but boy were we amazed with the Missoni!! From check into check out we received absolutely amazing service by everybody!

Portiers gave us good tips on what to do with the little time we had.

I had the Eggs Benedict for breakfast, simply delicious.

Rooms were colourful and the chance to play your own music from your own mp3 through that stereosystem they had in the room was cool! When we came back from the pubs they had done the turndown service. Suprised us in a very nice way. The freeminibar was good as well.

I defo recommend this hotel to everyone wanting that little bit more!

Stayed here last minute at the end of the Easter break. Booked on the day, service and room facilities excellent. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Superb central location, on the corner of the Royal Mile, 5 mins walk to the Grassmarket, same distance to the castle.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a central location for a "touristy" stay.

We stayed at Hotel Missoni over the Easter holidays.
It's located in a prime location on the Royal Mile within easy walking distance to all major sites.
Our room overlooked George IV Bridge street with the lovely Arthur's Seat as the backdrop.
You could hear the noise from the traffic below (we were on the 1st floor) however it certainly did not keep us awake at night.
All staff we encountered were more than helpful and seemed eager to please.
The room was decorated to a high standard and the bathroom with rainfall shower was an absolute standout.....if we could have stolen the whole room and fitted it on the train to London we would have!!!
Had a drink in the hotel bar on our first night.......it was quite busy so table sevice took a little longer than expected but the end result was definately worth the wait!
If travelling to Edinburgh I would definately recommend staying at Hotel Missoni....it won't disappoint!

Contrary to the many glowing reviews I've read here on this hotel I had an awful experience when I stayed here over the Easter bank holiday.
I had a room in the furthest corner of the 4th floor, On arrival the cups were dirty some of them had lipstick stains - which was disappointing for a 5*
Worst of all my windows were not soundproof so I didn't get any sleep, as the party goers walking along the Royal mile kept me up all night and the garbage trucks kept me awake in the early morning. It was actually torture and on checking out I wasn't even asked about my stay.

It wasn't all bad - the complimentary mini bar, free movies and the rainfall shower are wonderful, but if you can't get a good nights sleep at a luxury hotel...what's the point?

I was in love with the premise of the hotel and if you must stay here I would advise that you insist on a room away from the street.

Dear ‘lola s’

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay last weekend. We also appreciate the feedback we received via your booking agent and we hope they have forwarded on our response to you.

Needless to say, the issues which you faced are not the normal standard of service as you'll see from our great reviews. We take pride in offering friendly 5* service and would hope to be made aware of any problems at the time of your stay so we have the opportunity to resolve them immediately.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Hotel Missoni.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Hotel Missoni, and we would HIGHLY recommend it. It is located right off the Royal Mile and near Edinburgh Castle, walking distance to everything. Hotel Missoni was able to help us map out our day of sightseeing and everything they suggested was amazing (definitely do the free walking tour- AMAZING!!!)
