My wife and I took her sister and husband for a golden wedding anniversary trip.
Our rooms (608 and 609) were excellent offering a panoramic view over Edinburghs Princes Street area and were ready for us early.

The staff were all very obliging and could not do enough for us. The restaurant staff (especially Norman!) and in particular the manager (possibly Dennis, glasses and Irish?!!) made sure everything was to our satisfaction, even on an evening when they were expecting a party of 140 hungry American teenagers!! We felt that we still received a personal service from them all!

We can fully recommend Jurys Inn to anyone who wishes for a comfortable and relaxing stay with friendly obliging staff.

Room Tip: We booked rooms 608 and 609 which were superior rooms: well worth the extra money for the view over Princes Street to one side and Arthurs Seat at the other side , but had the advantage of complimentary WiFi and newspapers as well. Three large panoramic windows complimented these comfortable rooms.

This hotel is an ideal base for touring the old city of edinburgh. The rooms are of a good size and have all the usual amenities. We had a room over looking the stairs to the Royal mile and it was a bit noisy through the night ( as friday night revellers made thier way home)

Room Tip: choose a room over looking the station to avoid Royal mile noise.

We staid here for a saturday night and would highly recommend this hotel. The location is great, very close to Wavereley station and just off the royal mile. The room we had was a triple room with 3 very comfortable single beds. The room was very clean and had an excellent supply of tea/coffee etc. My only slight complaint was that the shower could of been a little more powerful. All staff that we met were very helpful and friendly.
Would stay here again

After a bad night in other hotel managed to check in to the Jurys Inn. Staff were excellent (on booking by phone and in person). Hotel very clean as was room. Thought it would be a twin room but it had a double bed and a single which was good. Although close to the railway station still a very quiet place with a good nights sleep. Breakfast was really good buffet style with good selection of cereals and fruit, toast and full english cooked breakfast. Would like to stay here again well worth it and it is in a great location.

Room was average, looked a little tired, Shower was not the best, shower curtains very annoying and bath very small. Fortunately I wasnt there for pleasure as the view out of my window was off the bins - very nice.....
Room was very cold when I arrived - soon noticed that the heating system was switched off, room warmed a little when I switched it on however still didnt feel very warm.
Bed wasnt that comfy and the duvet quite thin, Above all it was an average hotel for an average ammount of money - I wouldnt necessary recommend it to family and friends.
