Quite the show. Outstanding performance by military bands from far and wide. A great variety of music and modern for all tastes.

It's always worth seeing the Tattoo if you're in Edinburgh during August. As ever, this year's show was a fantastic spectacle with performers from all over the world putting on an immaculate show. Who can fail to be moved by the sound of the massed pipe bands as they march into the arena in perfect unison with their kilts swinging!

We were blessed with a fine night and clear skies which made it ever better.

My wife has some mobility problems and we had booked our tickets over the phone explaining this. I would like to add that the help and assistance they gave were excellent. They emailed us a day or two before we went to say where to go and they let us in through the barriers so that we didn't have to queue. They then took my wife's travelator and stored it away and it was promptly delivered back to us at the end. Such a relief for my wife and meant she enjoyed the evening to it's fullest extent.

What a wonderful evening, even if we did get thoroughly soaked about 20 minutes from the end, at least we had coats on unlike the poor performers who had no such protection!
The whole event was stunning and we look forward to going again another year.

We were there for opening night and it seemed as if the many groups had been playing together for months. Groups from New Zealand, Beijing, Shetland, and others performed individually and together. Bagpipes, drums, steel drums, and multiple orchestral instruments blended together beautifully. We had seats rather high up the stands, so that although we did not have the greatest view of individual performers, we had a wonderful perspective on how the groups meshed together . A magical evening
