I stayed here with my mum as it was close to the (Pavillion) theatre we were going to see a show at. The hotel was immaculate, as was our room (twin queen). The staff were well presented, friendly and helpful. We booked dinner in the restaurant 'Brisket' and it was absolutely beautiful! I had the restaurant speciality dish which was smoked, slow cooked brisket with horseradish mash, carrots and onion rings. When the plate arrived I didn't think I'd be able to finish it but it was so good I ate everything! My mum wasn't very hungry so went for cod with sweet potato and crayfish chowder. She said it was lovely though if she'd been hungry may have needed to order a side dish. For dessert we both had the mango and passion fruit cheesecake with coconut ice cream - this was a genuine pleasure to eat!! Breakfast was good and there seemed to be plenty available.
I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again. It is within easy walking distance of the bus station, shops and a few different theatres. I would definitely recommend it!More
