We are very familiar with excellent Persian food through friends, so we are best placed to compare this food with the top of the class
This is a restaurant in the west end of Glasgow, very popular over weekends.
The service was very friendly and efficient.
The food arrived promptly and hot.
The starters, Dolmeh and kashke, were very delicious.
The mains were lamb (Khoresht Ghormeh) and Chicken( Zereshk). The portions were generous, the food was hot, but the flavours, although aromatic, were not much to our liking (we've tasted better at our Persian friends).
The thing that put us off was the Ketchup. We ordered a portion of fries and were given a small bottle of Heinz Ketchup with it. First of all the expiry date shown on the tap had been exceeded! Worse than that was the fact that the bottle was filled with an orange liquid which was clearly NOT Heinz Ketchup. It seems that an empty Heinz bottle was filled by some Tesco value sauce. POOR SHOW!

My wife and I booked a table for 19:30 and it was a good job we did. Quite a few folk got turned away through the evening because all tables were taken. And no wonder, we ordered a mixed meat platter for two and were presented with the largest plate of food ever. Quantity came with quality because the food was gorgeous, succulent , authentic , and very very generous. All meats sat on a crispy flatbread that soaked up the juices so then became like a savoury pancake!
The salad dressing was a house special that I asked about the ingredients so I can try and emulate. One of the most memorable meals in a long time. If We lived in Glasgow we would haunt this place.

Been there a couple of times with friends. The best plate by far is the mixed kebab for 2 or for 4, as it contains everything. I would also recommend to try the traditional Dooght, a drink with yogurt, sparkling water, salt and dill. For dessert, the Bastani ice cream with traditional safran flavour is also highly recommended. A must visit restaurant!

We went there looking for authentic Persian food and we were not disappointed at all. The restraints atmosphere was cosy, and the music was relaxing. The waiter was very nice, he made some recommendations, and the service was prompt. We had the Ash Rashteh for starter which is an authentic traditional soup in Iran and it was wonderful. We also had bread on the side which was light. For starters we had a lamb stew with peas and aubergine, the lamb was moist and tender and the rice on the side was superb. I would also recommend the saffron pistachio ice cream as it was a great way to cleanse the palate, as the only downside for me was that the food was way too salty. However, with persian tea at the end for a bill of 20 pounds for 2 people it was well worth the visit and would recommend it.
