Stayed here while attending a conference at Glasgow Uni, for which it is extremely convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful; breakfast was fine (I only ever had porridge from the cooked menu so cannot comment on the rest, though it looked perfectly edible); bed was firm and comfy; room was very quiet: in other words, everything that mattered most to me was great. The low room-rate made me worry when I booked about where the savings were made, but they all seemed to be in sensible places that did not spoil the stay. I.e., the room furniture was unmatched basic Argos/2nd hand leftovers, BUT the bed was comfortable with spotless sheets, so I didn't care. The ceiling had those ugly office tiles and the decor was pretty tired generally, but the flat-screen TV worked. There was no hair-dryer in the room but I'm guessing I could have had one from the front desk if I'd wanted. There were only fixed dispensers of bodywash/shampoo in the ensuite (so nothing to steal, for those so inclined), but the little coffee/tea tray had biscuits which were replenished each day, which mattered a whole lot more to me. I had a room on the top floor at the back because I was keen to have somewhere quiet (it was, and had a view of treetops), but colleagues staying in front rooms reported that noise levels were surprisingly low there too. The first floor dining room has fantastic floor-to-ceiling bay windows, which made for a nice start to the day. And finally, when I left a book in my room and didn't contact the hotel about it until 3 weeks later, they replied the very next day to report that they'd found it and would post it out to me. So the customer service is outstanding as far as I'm concerned.

This two bedroom apartment was a great base to explore Glasgow!
Within walking distance was the Kelvingrove museum, Botanic gardens, Ashton Lane eateries and the Kelvinbridge subway terminal.

Had a great meal at an Indian restaurant called Ashoka, followed by a few beers and some live music at Jinty McGintys!

The apartment had a spacious living area with adequate eating facilities! Each bedroom has its own separate bathroom facilities.

Only advice would be that if you have a car, make your parking arrangements before arrival as the spaces are very limited!

Room tip: Apartment 14 had a great view of the main road and everything you need for a great stay in Glasgow!

Nothing speciel but clean, kind and helpfull staff and a great breakfast. When we first came into the lobby we thought that we had made a mistanke booking this hotel, but the room was great and there are some good restaurants in the neighbourhood. We had a great stay.

Room tip: Book a room in one of the lover floors. There is no lift.
