“Comfortable, well-located West End apartment”
Reviewed 13 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The ground floor apartment was easy to locate, near to Byres with it's shops, restaurants and metro station. Within walking distance of Kelvingrove and the Botanical gardens. It was clean, well furnished, more than enough crockery, and the beds were very comfortable. Communication direct with the owner went well and we met the key holder on arrival.

Unfortunately communication through Holiday Lettings did not always work - I think this is the second time it has happened to us.

“Great flat in a brilliant location”
Reviewed 2 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Owner very helpful, both before our stay and on arrival when we were met, given the keys and shown around. The flat is in a traditional Glasgow tenement, full of character. The surrounding streets are quiet but it's five minutes from a lively area with restaurants, cafes and interesting shops. We were also close to bus stops, train and subway stations, making it easy to travel into central Glasgow and beyond. The flat was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

“beautiful”

this lovely apartment is just a home from home,we wanted for nothing, even the food in the cupboards was welcome and the milk in the fridge !! loved the high ceilings and the light airy rooms, will be back to stay here again as soon as possible.for longer next time.the apartment was within walking distance of the lovely shops and subway stations, would suggest using buses or subway to travel around as parking in glasgow city centre can be very expensive. taxis are reasonable too.

Caird Drive was a real find. It was perfectly located in the West End, with super transport links to the airport and centre. There are lots of lovely cafes and bars within minimal walking distance and the area is quiet and leafy. The flat itself is absolutely lovely, roomy and beautifully finished. We were met by a really friendly host for key handover and were encouraged to be in touch should anything arise. It was an absolute dreamy stay. And the sun was out! But don't count on that ;)

“Perfect Glasgow Flat”
Reviewed 27 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Absolutely perfect flat and location for a wedding we were attending. Great location in Glasgow if you want to explore the lovely West End and loads of great places to eat. The flat was very clean and comfortable and ideal for myself, husband and 2 year old. Very comfortable beds. Will definitely recommend to others.

“Well equipped, great location. ideal for a city break”

We booked Caird Drive at short notice and were very impressed by the place. A very comfortable apartment, fully modernised in a lovely old tenement building. All the facilities we could have wanted were there including phone and fast internet. I worried that parking might be difficult but it was fairly easy to find a space nearby, and the flat is close enough to walk to galleries and museums, the botanic gardens, and even the city centre, so not much need to use the car. There are several good restaurants nearby - I particularly recommend Cail Bruich, only 15 minutes walk. Also worth visiting the NTS's Tenement House on Bucchleuch Street for an idea of how the Caird Drive property might have looked 100 years ago!
