We arrive just before the lunch menu was scheduled to end for the day but were still given that option and were seated and served promptly. Iced water was brought to the table without request and bread was offered as an extra.
The chicken roulade was really good, as was fish soup starter which was actually a vaguely Italian tomato sauce which was stiff with fish.
Mains were crispy skin sea bass with a gorgeous vanilla sauce over vegetable tagliatelle, accompanied by lots of clams and lardons. The hake was beautifully cooked - still moist and soft - along with a terrific chorizo cause that seasoned it all perfectly.
The service was excellent as well. Highly recommended. In fact the only *slight* disappointment was that we couldn't tip by credit card - I watched the waitress skip through that option on the card machine - as the service more than warranted it. If you're reading this - sorry, but we don;t carry cash!
