Returning to Craigie View for the second time and we weren't disappointed. Myself, my husband, son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters aged 5 yrs and 19 mths spent four days at this lovely house and it feels like a home from home for all of us. The house is well equipped with everything you would need and more. A quiet location but a short walk away from Aviemore centre with lovely walks, great places to eat and something for everyone. Very family friendly. The owner, David is very helpful and answers any queries promptly. We will definitely be back.

“The most wonderful 5 days in my life :)”

I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable time than I had at this lovely house. The house is very cozy, and the best place if you are looking for peace, rest, calmness and refreshing atmosphere. Everything in the house is great and works perfectly well, and nothing is missing. The house is located at the centre of Aviemore, the place of holidays where there is something to do for anyone, the place from where you can go to so many fantastic areas in the highlands. I tried the steam train, the quad Trekking at Rothiemurchus, the Funicular to the top of Cairngorms mountain, Glenmore loch Morlich and had a trip to Inverness. Everyday I did something new, going from the house and returning back to the house. You don't need to have a car, there are frequent public services close to the house that takes you everywhere and you can use the bike, also provided in the house. I can' t say more than the days I spent there are the best days in my life, it is the best place for holidays and definitely I will book there again.

“Great value”
Reviewed February 20, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Stayed for a week during the school holidays in February. Nicely appointed cottage, with pretty much everything you could want. Loads of dvds, books and video games if needed on a rainy day although we got pretty lucky with the weather! Owner is very nice and responsive to queries. Does have white meter heating which is always a bit of a pain to get right but the owner also supplies oil heaters to top up if you get it wrong (although we were roasting more often!). Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.
