My husband and I spent 2 nights at The Old Minister House which we thoroughly enjoyed. The room was very comfortable and the extra special touches were greatly appreciated like champagne for our honeymoon, assortment of homebaked goodies and a variety of teas & coffees. Great location to the Aviemore town centre and the Cairngorm National Park.

We were happy to be at The Old Ministers Guest House for one week in July. Lorraine and her team gave us a very warm welcome and we had a great stay. Besides nicely decorated rooms with really fast Internet Connection and international power supply adapter we had a very beautiful Lounge with plenty of good books und video for rainy days and an exquisit collection of Scottish single malt whiskys and gins to have a nice evening. Lorraine and her very friendly team every day prepared delicious breakfast like Scottish (Black Pudding, sausage, aso.), Porridge or continental, as much as we could eat. Her recommendations for visits and trips not only nearby have been very helpful for us.

My wife and I spent 4 nights (from 31st July) in the Old Ministers Guest House as part of a trip to Aviemore and Oban. What a great find.

The Guest House was only taken over by Lorraine on the 1st July but she has set fantastic standards already - her customer service background in the corporate world really shows.

The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed with extremely comfortable beds.
There's also a host of little extras that make the difference - specialist teas/coffees, home made biscuits, a small sherry decanter and a great range of toiletries (thanks to my wife for the last comment).

There was a wide choice for breakfast with the hot items all locally sourced and freshly cooked.

The Guest House is licensed with an honesty bar and a lovely lounge to relax at the end of a long day in the hills. Lots of books and DVDs are available, along with a tablet to browse the web and plan the next day's activities.

Good luck to Lorraine with the business, she's certainly made a great start. I am sure we will return and will be recommending the Guest House to anyone visiting Aviemore.

Stayed 2 nights in early August and it was a super stay. Lorraine and the team are first class and nothing is a trouble. Great information desk with lots of local info. Easy walk to the Old Bridge Inn for food, drinks and live music. 10min walk to Aviemore town centre.
Rooms were spacious, spotless clean and the sherry was a lovely touch!
Breakfast was a great selection of local produce well cooked and plenty of it!

Room Tip: stayed in a front facing room with bay window seating area.

We stayed at the Old Ministers Guest House for two nights and as we left, we agreed that we will be back next summer. Friendly welcome, very nice spacious room, good wifi and great breakfast. The place is immaculate and Lorraine has clearly thought carefully about the details such as ground coffee and speciality teas in the bedrooms, and local gin and whisky available in the sitting room. Lorraine was keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay including providing a very nice continental breakfast when we needed to leave very early.
