Loads of room in the cottage which was nice and bright with huge windows. Loads of little extras too like binoculars to borrow etc.
The location is very pretty with a lovely cove just a few minutes away where you can see seals and have a coastal walk. Wick is about 10 minute drive and has Tesco, pubs, restaurants and very good fish and chips!
I would definitely stay here again and would take family- there's plenty of room to not feel on top of each other.
This region of Britain is absolutely stunning with bright beautiful skies.... even in winter. On this little corner of the coast they seem to miss the really cold stuff.
There are plenty of tourist sites to visit, be it Neolithic sites, beautiful harbours, mini museums and of course the gorgeous long beaches to play on. We couldn't have asked for more in the croft, it was incredibly clean, well decorated and cosy... It was perfectly well equipped and set up for us, my 3 small children slept in one room together comfortably with us in the other bedroom. Importantly the views from every single window of this traditional croft are just stunning! And just a very short walk leads down to the secluded old harbour known as 'The Haven'. We were very well looked after by the kind and friendly locals and even had a cake waiting for us, which the children were delighted with.
A very enjoyable stay!
